How can I increase IDM download speed?  people search this thing on google but, they do not any enough information or idea. I am going to tell you two ways to boost IDM speed.

Methods To Increase Internet Download Manager Speed:

#1 Using IDM Optimizer

You might have understood this tool works from its name. This tool made to Optimize IDM speed.  It modifies registry entries,and it changes  Max Connection Numbers and some few other entries. 

1. You need to download this tool here is a link.
2. Now open download file and unzipping Optimizer RAR file and run it.
3.  Click on maximize Now button.

4. After that you need to restart IDM.

After doing above, method checks your downloading speed. I think your speed would be increased 15-20% faster than before.

Note: If this optimizer hasn't boosted your downloading speed or if you see any error. then you can also restore the default setting.

#2Manually Edit Some File 

This method is quite complicated than the above method it will take  least 10,15 minutes.

1.  First of all open IDM.exe and go to Downloads button and select Options.

2. After open Options menu, click on the Connection tab and make sure that your Download Limits off after that change your connection into High-speed. 

3.  Go to Default max. Conn. Number menu (Below connection type menu) and select 32 and click OK.

4. Ok, now you have done your task and try to download any files.

1. Look If you think that you can double your downloading speed by using this method. then you are wrong this trick may increase 15-20% rate.
2. Keep one thing in your mind, download speed depends on your internet connection. if your internet service provider has some limits. then you can not bypass that limit by using any kind of method.
